Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
French fries used to be the food I would choose if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, but I have been getting a little sick of fries lately so I might switch my answer to chicken wings. I don’t know why this question exists in my head, but it’s a fun one to answer to myself. Also, to be more specific, by chicken wings, I mean wingettes. Drumettes wouldn’t exist in my utopia world. 😂
What I love about chicken wings is the crispiness of the skin, moist meat in the middle, and all of it surrounded by the sauce or flavour of the wing (my apologies to those of you who are vegetarian, vegan, or don’t eat chicken). If you get wings at a wing restaurant, you are likely to have 20+ flavours to choose from so if you get tired of one flavour, you can always choose a different one. Saucy, dry rub, mild, spicy…there’s a flavour for everyone’s taste buds.
Despite getting wings pretty often, I haven’t gotten tired of my favourite wing flavour yet and that flavour is Spicy Garlic Parmesan (also known as Spicy Gar Par). Therefore, imagine my reaction when I was grocery shopping at Walmart and saw they had bottles of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce in the condiment section. I immediately grabbed a bottle and couldn’t wait to try it at home.
My husband and I ended up making chicken fingers for dinner the next night and guess what I used as my dipping sauce? Yup, the Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce, and it was everything I hoped it would be. It was flavourful, creamy, and garlicky, and tasted just like the Garlic Parmesan sauce on the wings I get from a restaurant or perhaps even better. If I want it to be spicy, all I need to do is mix in some Melinda’s Creamy Style Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce (which is also amazing and recommended) and voila, Spicy Gar Par!
Since I discovered the Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce, I have used it on chicken fingers, chicken souvlaki, chicken wings, french fries, and will probably use it on a lot more. I hope Walmart has some more bottles when I run out or maybe I should stock up just in case.
